Aaron Barnes is a born entrepreneur, having started his love affair with “the next big thing” at age 11. Engineering and RC vehicles have always been paramount in his interests. These interests grew to include full-size motor vehicles as well. He not only developed his skills at auto body repair and paint, but, become a certified mechanic, too.
Having mastered the world of High Performance Bavarian Engineering by recess, he turned to computers; becoming one of the most highly recommended service techs and box-builders in Southwest Florida. Aaron joined the Army upon his graduation from high school in order to gain further training in technologies not available to the average gearhead. The Army took this able recruit and created a tech-monster.
After his active-duty military service as a satellite communications technician, he switched over to the Army Reserves and completed a second tour of duty working in the military intelligence community. Today he works with the future technologies in 3D printing and Drones to improve the world and inspire others to complete their goals and dreams through his art of Cinematography.
During his transition to civilian world, he found passion working with a Florida-based non-profit, Paws and Warriors. PAW’s utilizes therapy dogs to help veterans with the recovery process and emotional support. Aaron also works with GreenZone Hero promoting their mission of Honoring Freedom to Improve Business for their members. Aaron continues his mad scientist experiments with innovative technologies and using his self-proclaimed nerdiness to help others. He calls it re-engineering.

Chris is a 25+ year U.S. Army retired veteran and spent much of his military career on 3rd Special Forces Operational Detachments Alpha (ODA) teams. His career includes many deployments leading ODA combat teams and advising and training people from all over the world. Chris earned a dual Master’s Degree in Business and Project management and is the Chief Executive of Military Affairs for SOLIDRed Concepts.

Ryan is originally from "The Big Apple" (NYC) and lives in Florida now. He served 5 years in the United States Marine Corps with 2 combat deployments, both in Afghanistan. In 2012, he was on the Air Support Liason Team for British forces in Helmand Province as an Air Support Operator. During that tour, he received the Navy Achievemenr Medal for heroism in action. In 2014, he was part of Operation Inherent Resolve 2014 serving again as an Air Support Operator. During that deployment, Ryan was also engaged in counterintelligence operations against ISIS forces, too.

Otis retired from the US Army in 2009 as a Special Forces Lieutenant Colonel following 25 years of service. Since retirement, Otis has been the Business Development Director and Manager for several companies. He started his own company in 2009, LTO Enterprises, LLC, which provides executive level coaching, business development support and training to clients. Otis is currently Head Coach of the Colorado Springs Grizzlies High School Rugby Club and the Colorado All-State Varsity Rugby Team. He is also pursuing his professional coaching certification through the IPEC.
While in the Army, Otis had a broad range of experience from being a private driving tanks older than himself; to an engineer in Alaska, running heavy equipment in the most extreme conditions; to leading Green Berets on complex and dangerous missions around the world. Otis also had the unique experience to be part of new units and command organizations, working to create these new units into cohesive effective organizations. This experience ranged from artic conditions in Alaska to counter-terrorism units in Iraq and Afghanistan, to NATO Special Operations Headquarters. Being part of these organizations from the ground up, has given Otis an immense amount of experience in creating successful organizations.
In the business world, Otis has used those same skills and experience to build successful teams, business units and companies. Otis has lead capture efforts and proposal development for large and small firms. These efforts have ranged from small task orders to large multiple entity Joint Venture efforts. In addition to his business development efforts Otis has run multi-million dollar programs for the government spread across the US and overseas.
Otis’ passion lies with helping people succeed. This passion has driven Otis through years of coaching rugby and now drives his business coaching career. Otis works hard to give back to the community that gave him so much by volunteering his time to help veterans transition from service and begin their own business and coaching rugby.

Jason served in the WI Army National Guard and United States Army Reserves from 1994-2002. In February 2003 his Army National Guard unit, the 229th Combat Support Engineers, were mobilized for service in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He voluntarily left his civilian life as an attorney and re-enlisted to join them during their active duty combat tour with the 4th Infantry Division, returning home in May 2004.
Johns’s unit base camped outside of Saddam’s hometown of Tikrit and ran convoy missions, force protection assignments, roadside checkpoints, IED sweep and detection missions, forward operating base establishment and build -ups, as well as infantry and MP patrol support. Their area of operation spanned the Sunni insurgent enclaves of Tikrit, Samarra, Balad, Baqubah and at times over to the mountainous region bordering Iran in the east. On the morning of 26 Oct 2003, while assuming control of a checkpoint north of Samarra, Johns and a fellow squad member were wounded by the detonation of an anti-tank land mine planted by enemy forces. Johns was sent to a field hospital for blast but was able to remain in country and after adequate recovery time at base camp he completed his tour of duty in April 2004, earning a Purple Heart, Combat Action Badge, Army Commendation Medal, War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal and the Armed Forces Reserves Medal with an “M” for meritorious service.
Jason grew up in Louisburg, WI as the oldest of five siblings and graduated from Southwestern High School in Hazel Green in May 1994. He earned his B.A. in History from the University of Northern Iowa in May 1998 where he was an active player on the UNI Men’s Rugby Team. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctorate with an international law certificate from Hamline University School of Law in May 2001. After completing his education he practiced law in Washington, D.C. before returning home to Wisconsin to pursue an opportunity working in the Wisconsin State Legislature in December 2002.
In the years since his return from Iraq, Jason has worked in state government relations and lobbying, eventually being appointed in to the cabinet of Governor Scott Walker as the deputy secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs from 2011-13. In 2013 he established his own firm, Wisconsin Legislative Strategies, Inc. He has served for years as commander of his local VFW Post, National Judge Advocate for the Military Order of the Purple Heart, U.S.A., and represents the MOPH and VFW in Wisconsin as their pro-bono lobbyist where has helped write and usher through dozens of pieces of legislation benefitting his fellow veterans.
In 2014 Jason created a veterans benefits law entity, N.M.L.B. Veterans Advocacy Group where he represents his brothers and sisters with their appeals in front of the VA’s Board of Veterans Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims in Washington, D.C.
Jason’s service continues as he was an instrumental member of the Fundraising committee to bring Wisconsin’s first Fisher House to the Zablocki VA medical center in Milwaukee, serves on the boards of the University of Wisconsin’s Law School’s Veterans Legal Clinic, Camp Ryan Adams, Hogs for Heroes of Wisconsin, U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims Bar Association and founded the Purple Heart Riders of Wisconsin. He is also a senior associate with the Wounded Warriors in Action and works with the leadership of Wounded Warriors Weekend-Canada in organization of their annual event.
Jason lives outside of Madison, WI with his wife of 11 years, Carin, and their three young children, twins Abby and Ellie (8) and son William (5).

Erik married his wife Rebecca before he joined the Army. He did 9 years in the U. S. Army with multiple deployments including Iraq and Afghanistan. During his combat rotations, Erik first served as an Infantryman in the 82nd Airborne Division and later as a 7th U.S. Army Special Forces Green Beret. He was a Combat Diver, JTAC and Technical Surveillance Detachment on my ODA. During his deployments, Rebecca raised their three 3 children, got her Bachelors and Master degree in accounting along with her CPA license all while working for a large National CPA firm.
Erik ended his military service in 2016 and in the same year, they started Green Ledger CPA together. Their company focuses on small-mid size business only, offering day to day bookkeeping, financial accounting, tax planning/returns and CFO services. Obviously, they are focused on high quality execution.

Sergeant Simon Harmer RAMC
Having served as Combat Medical Technician for the British Army in Bosnia, Iraq and the Congo, Sergeant Simon Harmer lost both of his legs in an IED blast in Afghanistan in 2009.
The manner in which he has approached these life changing injuries is truly exemplary. Whether you are interested in the British Army, the medical services or wish to hear a humbling yet inspiring story then Simon must not be missed.
Simon recently represented the British Armed Forces swimming team at the Invictus Games.

Chaplain David Reid Brown, Commander, U.S. Navy (Ret.) served aboard the USS SHREVEPORT (LPD-12) from October 2000 through April 2002. His personal experiences as a Navy Chaplain led him to the writing of "Spirit Soundings", a three volume series covering the aftermath of the bombing of the USS COLE (DDG-67), the harrowing attacks of 9/11, his wartime deployment to Afghanistan, and his homecoming back to America. In Spirit Soundings, Commander Reid engages the reader and provides them with a clear sense of the depth of their relationship with God, a basic understanding of the role of a Navy Chaplain, and a greater awareness of the dynamic setting of Sea Service Ministry.

Stephen Lee is a Marine Corps Veteran and a former military contractor. He served with HMM-365 And HMM 263 as an Avionics Specialist for CH-46E helicopters. As a contractor he did multiple deployments to the middle East. He is a proud disabled veteran and advocate of freedom. He Currently works at the #1 Harley Davidson Dealership in the world, Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson. He is the proud father of two. His home town is Decatur Tennessee.
